HUFA

The Hungarian University of Fine Arts is one of the main institutions of art education in Hungary, covering and representing all areas of fine arts. The exhibiting artists have dealt with the feelings of isolation and internal and external confinement in different ways. During the covid period, wearing pyjamas on a weekday became commonplace, where we often felt trapped in our own homes.

In the installation of the exhibition, the viewer can experience ambivalent feelings. The artworks offer the possibility of transgression, where we can choose to bypass or cross the barriers created by reality.
The designs are characterised by an illustration of a female figure representing the theme of the exhibition. We have become giants locked in our apartments during the covid.
Exhibiting artists: Bíborka Gacsályi, Eszter Júlia Kuzma, Luca Pataki, Melitta Flóra Puskás, Lilla Judit Sipos / Curators: Ágnes Keszegh, Bence Kovács
