THOUGHTS AS A DESIGNER
We live in a visual world, where we are exposed to a lot of impact on a daily routine. What we see on the street or on the screen has a social and cultural significance. As a designer, I think we have to make all our work with this in mind and be aware that we are affecting people, evoking emotions and thoughts. You have to recognise the potential and the importance of this and know what the right creative responses to certain challenges will be.
I think it is essential to understand the cultural background of projects and to look at them in detail. For me, fine and applied arts inspirations are also a key element, which can add to the visual value of the work.
Every project has the potential to make the environment a more pleasant place to live in, without compromising the strategic background of the project. However, it is necessary to remember that we live in symbiosis with the world around us, so it is important to raise awareness and inspire people to develop better habits, because we are not only affecting them but also nature.
