Carson Coma is one of Hungary's best-known guitar-based rock bands. The young band gives sold-out concerts at the country's biggest music venues and festivals, such as the Sziget Festival. Their fourth album, IV, was released in 2023 and has a strong post-punk and American garage rock sound, full of Hungarian political and cultural references.

     The vinyl is packaged with a unique Carson Coma logo, whose design reflects the typical world of the 60s-70s Psychedelia rock posters. This style is blended with a sharper, more edgy look which in turn hints at the sound of album IV.       This album, among many other themes, is also about growing up, so the themes are heavier and the sound is darker, more critical, sometimes angry. Still, their playfulness of character, usually with a touch of irony, is palpable.
     For each track, an illustration is created, inspired by the song. These drawings were placed on the vinyl record sleeve and in the insert, behind the lyrics. The style of the illustrations is inspired by the atmosphere of IV, which has a more raw, edgy, critical and sometimes playful sound compared to previous albums.      The guys recorded the album at the castle in Pusztazámor, documented by Dia Komróczki. These pictures were included in the insert and they also show the scratchy, prickly gesture as in the illustrations.    CREDITSProduction: Fanni Fejes
